Essential Tips for Booking Flights to Paris

Booking flights to Paris

Basic information for booking flights to Paris
You must make plans soon for the rest of this summer and next fall if you have tickets and rooms of good in Paris. If you go to other places in France, which I strongly suggest you think you have much more time to get good places to stay.

Since it is late, I’ll put up some of my best suggestions in a number of categories.

FIND FLIGHTS

For me, the Finder world’s most comprehensive and practical flight is

Kayak.com

It is the Swiss Army knife of leak detectors. There researchers airlines and flight brokers so you get a large number of citations. But the quotes can be managed for you: by the time of the day by the airline, etc. It is fast, fast, fast. It’s worldwide, so if you want to continue to Paris to Berlin or Dubai, you can get any kayak. (I have no financial interest in this site, use all the time.)

Now that I’ve clued in kayaking, let me give you my strategy of buying tickets. I write a period of days, I’m ready to fly. If I am flexible enough that I could put five different days to leave and five for the return. It’s not often I find the flight I want exactly the day I want the first throw of the dice. Using Kayak, I get an idea of available flights, airlines that I prefer, prices, etc. Personally, I never use a single booking source, such as Orbitz, they simply offer too narrow a range of information.

And then I called the airlines I have the most favorable. The best time to call is after about 7:00 pm It does not matter what time zone you are in, as long as you get in the soft evening not to be placed on a long-lasting. Of course, later, the agents are available 24 / 7, so if you’re a night owl like me, it’s a great strategy to avoid being put on hold.

The reason for calling an agent is as follows: It is fine to buy your tickets online, there is nothing wrong with that. But the agents of the airlines you get on the phone more, get more information at the minute and can really help you (but very nice for they usually respond to a sympathetic humor). The agent of the airline can and goes to a number of days possible for you. Say you search on July 10, as your preferred date, but can also leave any time from July 5-15 July. Just ask them and they will look in every ten days for you and offer you timetables and fares. Or, if you can fly on July 10 or July 6 July 8 they will find these dates for you. They can do so very quickly. You can do it online, but probably not as fast and I suspect that less information up-to-the-minute. Remember, there is a river of thousands of reservations fluid and constantly evolving, so everything is possible.

And remember, when you book a flight with an agent, you can ask your favorite seat. (Mine is on the side so I could stretch my legs. I try to make the two-by-side seating series as persons below will not stumble in and out of me and it is less likely that I will be next to a large family with children (I love the children outside the aircraft). In some aircraft (such as the Boeing 767-300 American Airlines), it is in the economic section of what is called a mini-cab just behind business class. It is much quieter and more private than the rest of the area economy class costs the same request.

FIND SEATS

You can find the seating configurations with excellent recommendations for almost all airlines and all types of aircraft

Seatguru.com

I urge you to look at this site.

Also, remember that talking to the airline agent, you can ask one of the many types of dinners, as vegetarian or kosher, on flights where dinner is served.

FLEXIBILITY

And finally, if you do not get the reservation you want right away, keep calling the airline. There are always cancellations, even at the last minute. If you travel with frequent flyer miles, you can make your reservation and keep the change as much as you want without penalty as long as the destinations remain the same. If you pay cash, it might be worth a hundred dollars to change your reservation once to what suits you best.
